Going deep into the front line: donating materials, cleaning up post disaster waste

On July 6th, upon learning of the severe shortage of cement and other building materials during the flood control operation in Huabao Village, Ningxiang, Songjing New Materials immediately organized a volunteer team consisting of cadres, party members, and union members to deliver four trucks of cement to Huabao Village.

After the donated materials were placed in place, the volunteers of Matsui New Materials ignored the hot weather and the foul smell of garbage, and nervously and orderly cleaned up the garbage for the severely affected villagers. This made the affected people feel the strong care of the social family, and the villagers were very excited and thanked them repeatedly.

It is reported that Huabao Village in Ningxiang is a poverty-stricken village supported by Matsui New Materials in the poverty alleviation campaign of "100 Enterprises and 100 Villages". This round of heavy rainfall has caused more than 4500 people in the village to be affected, with 141 flooded houses and 95 collapsed houses. The main affected area is 3260 acres, with 8410 meters of damaged channels, 87 water ponds damaged, and rural drinking water facilities damaged, totaling more than 660000 yuan. More than 2000 meters of village roads have been washed away, 14 bridges of various sizes have been damaged, 350 meters of the Wujiang River embankment has been breached, 19 power poles have collapsed and broken, and nearly 50 household heads in the village, including shops, planting, and animal husbandry, have been damaged.
