Woif, head of the EHS department, reminded safety precautions.

"Leader" - Chairman Ling Yunjian's heartfelt speech.
"Today is better than yesterday, today is better than tomorrow! Emergencies are often uncertain, and uncertainty has become the norm in life. We must respond to uncertainty with certainty, which is why we decided to hold this corporate culture practice activity today as originally planned. Exercise can change a person's lifestyle, and I hope everyone values exercise and works out more to maintain a good image and physique. I have been exercising for thirty years, and I still feel like I'm in my twenties; this is my personal experience. Walking more than thirty kilometers is a long-distance exercise, and those who usually do not exercise should learn to understand their bodies, pay attention to traffic safety, and also focus on their own physical safety. I hope everyone finishes the race smoothly and safely, and I also hope everyone achieves good results."

Ready - Go!

The rain kept falling, but the atmosphere could still be very harmonious.

The moment of crossing the finish line.
【Post-Race Interview】
Q: Standing at the end of a long road filled with wind and rain, looking back, what do you feel?
Wu Zhen/Alex: The biggest feeling is persistence. I only had one thought in my mind: I must finish the race. When I ran about ten kilometers, I actually felt very tired and couldn't go on, but after getting through that fatigue point, the rest of the journey became easier; when I returned from the turning point, there was not a single companion beside me, and it was this thought that supported me to get through that "boring" stretch.
Huang Lianyu/Bonnie: I really think you have to persist, set a goal ahead, and keep chasing it; secondly, you must not hold the team back. I am someone who usually finds shopping tiring and doesn't exercise much, and I never thought I would complete the entire course before starting, but through this "Yixing", I found that as long as I stick to my beliefs, anything can be achieved.
Zhang Kai/Ken: Applaud for myself. The first few kilometers were relatively easy, but the further I went, the more difficult it became. As my stamina continued to deplete, the fatigue from my feet became stronger, but seeing my companions persist, I firmly told myself: I can do it! On the way back, my heel was worn and bleeding, and the blood had even soaked through the back of my shoe, but my determination to finish the race remained firm. No matter the outcome, at least I completed the race, challenged myself, overcame myself, and achieved personal growth!
Zhang Tao/Thomas: Believe in yourself and keep going! The essence of hiking lies in the word "YI", a spirit of never giving up and moving forward! My colleague Tim Gao couldn't walk anymore in the last few kilometers and had to lean on a tree branch to return; Ken Zhang had blisters on his heels from ill-fitting shoes but still persevered through the pain to finish the entire course; Connor Wang had a calf muscle strain but still moved step by step towards the finish line... From them, I felt this perseverance!
As for myself, during the preparation for the event, I knew that to achieve the goal of finishing the race, it was difficult without effort and preparation, so I insisted on running for half an hour every day. After more than a month of training, I found that running not only strengthens the body but also maintains my mental state; the longer I persist, the more obvious this feeling becomes. During the race, I hardly rested; I knew my condition, and the more I ran, the more I could persist. Once I relaxed, it would be difficult to keep going, so I decided not to let myself stop! At my own pace, not following others, fighting for myself!
"It feels like my legs are no longer my own."
This is the first sentence many finishers said upon reaching the finish line.
Fatigue and soreness may temporarily hinder your progress.
But as long as there is faith in your heart.
There will be strength under your feet.
Step towards the goal with one heart.
The whole world will make way for you.

To create an atmosphere of unity, cooperation, and harmonious development, and to enhance the cohesion of the Matsui East China regional team, on May 16, the Coatings TS East China Department responded to the company's "SOKAN. Yiqixing" event call, and held a hiking challenge activity simultaneously with the headquarters at Niushou Mountain in Nanjing. This event was jointly held by the Coatings TS East China Department and the PMC Department (stationed in East China), with full participation and a lively atmosphere. During the event, all participants were divided into four teams for hiking, lasting about 4 hours. Although the temperature reached 35°C that day, it did not deter participants from climbing upwards; sweat streamed down their faces, and enthusiasm grew stronger. Under the spirit of striving and never giving up, everyone successfully completed the entire course. This event not only allowed team members to exercise their bodies and hone their will but also enhanced the cultural connection between the East China region and the headquarters, further strengthening the team atmosphere of unity, friendship, and harmonious progress in the East China region.
[Conclusion]
The award-winning contestants certainly shine, but there is no doubt that every participant has earned the respect of everyone. Every race, every finish line; every persistence, every breakthrough brings countless emotions and surprises.
Once you set off, you will surely reach your destination. Although there may be wind and rain ahead, as long as you pass through the thorns, walk over the rugged path, and tread through the mud, you will eventually welcome the dawn and embrace the rainbow.
