On December 5th (Sunday), the weather was clear and the sun was just right. To enhance communication among the many fishing enthusiasts in the company, improve skills, and share the joy of fishing, the Matsui Co., Ltd. 2021 Fishing Competition kicked off at the Ningxiang Fishing Ground. A total of 21 Matsui fishing enthusiasts signed up for the competition. Although the grass withered in winter, the enthusiasm for fishing by the pond was still high.
At 08:00, the fishing competition officially began. By the fishing ground, participants were busy setting up floats, baiting hooks, and casting lines in one go. Each held a fishing rod, closely watching the floats, waiting for the fish to bite. Experienced fishing experts quickly caught the first "trophy," drawing gasps and cheers from those around.
After 4 hours of competition, Yang Guocheng from the Engineering Equipment Department, Zhang Shaoyong from the BD Color Center, and Liu Zongxiao from the Ink TS Department won the first, second, and third places in the "Total Weight" category with catches weighing 3kg, 1.8kg, and 1kg respectively; Yang Guocheng, Zhang Shaoyong, and Hou Zhi from the PMC Department won the first, second, and third places in the "Single Heaviest" category with individual fish weighing 0.9kg, 0.8kg, and 0.7kg.
Although the catch was limited, the joy of fishing was boundless. This event not only provided a platform for Matsui fishing enthusiasts to exchange experiences and hone their skills but also allowed everyone to relax and bond during their busy work.
