Shared aspirations lead to guaranteed success.
On April 8, the Best Management Consulting Group and Matsui Co., Ltd. held a kickoff meeting for the "Strategic Sorting and Group Control" consulting project at Matsui's headquarters. Vice President of Best Management Consulting Group Hu Jianxiong and Project Manager Gong Yingchi attended with the project team, while Matsui's Chairman Brian, President Jason, and over 30 middle and senior management personnel from Matsui and its subsidiaries participated.

At the beginning of the meeting, Matsui's President Jason introduced that after more than 10 years of steady development, through mergers and acquisitions as well as internal incubation, the company now has multiple subsidiaries and business chains, providing customers with a variety of systematic new functional coating material system solutions. To better sort out the company's development strategy, optimize the organizational control model, and effectively improve the overall operational level and core competitiveness of the company, Matsui chose to partner with Best Management Consulting Group, using this consulting as a starting point to embark on a new journey of development.
Subsequently, Gong Yingchi, General Manager of the BU at Best Management Consulting Group and project manager for this initiative, provided a detailed introduction to the project requirements, content, implementation ideas and operational plans, project goals, management mechanisms, and key success factors, stating that both parties will work together with "Five Ones" (one goal, one team, one understanding, one idea, one pace) and ensure mission accomplishment with "Five Elements" (strong leadership push, full communication, knowledge transfer, team training, and concept change) to ensure the achievement of goals.
It is reported that this management consulting project is divided into two major phases: management system construction, implementation, and solidification, as well as six major steps including research and evaluation, strategic sorting, strategic decoding, group control model and organizational structure, supporting mechanisms and institutional processes, and system implementation and monitoring, focusing on medium to long-term strategic planning, annual operational planning (optimization), annual organizational performance, group control, and organizational design (headquarters), with on-site consulting expected to last for 5 months.
Hu Jianxiong, Vice President and Project Director of Best Management Consulting Group, stated that to ensure the achievement of goals, Matsui needs to make changes in four aspects: shifting from product marketing to service marketing; transitioning from acquiring projects to managing projects; moving from managing single projects to managing clients; and evolving from managing clients to managing industries. Matsui Co., Ltd. should concentrate resources to fight major battles, shifting from a single battleship combat mode to a fleet combat mode to maximize value, while also wishing that through this collaboration, Matsui will undergo a transformation in business philosophy and combat mode, achieving greater success.
Finally, Matsui's Chairman Brian introduced the project background and outlined the project requirements. Brian stated that with Matsui's continuous development, the understanding of personnel, market, and environment are changing, making it necessary to timely sort and adjust strategies. Additionally, based on the development of the strategy, Matsui has transitioned from a single organization in the past to multiple independently operating organizations, which requires different concepts and capabilities. The company will link resources through group operations to achieve strategic development. This requires all cadres to maintain an open mindset, have a strong willingness and awareness to learn, and possess the ability to continue learning, enhancing their thinking and knowledge skills through this project.
Brian expressed that Matsui is a pragmatic enterprise, and both project teams should communicate comprehensively and timely. He hopes that the consulting company will provide methodological guidance to Matsui from a higher platform, focusing on the essence of things, and looks forward to Matsui truly achieving strategic leaps with the help and guidance of Best Management Consulting.
It is believed that with the joint efforts, close cooperation, and perseverance of both parties, Matsui's future will be even more brilliant and glorious!
