On December 6, after 35 days of intense and fierce competition, the Matsui Co., Ltd. 2021 Badminton Tournament successfully concluded at the company's badminton hall.
This event was organized by the company's trade union committee and hosted by the Matsui Badminton Association. The competition was divided into two parts: the first stage was a singles selection competition, and the second stage was a doubles cooperative fun match, with each group consisting of 4 people competing in a round-robin format. The top two from each group advanced to the knockout stage. To enhance participation and enthusiasm, both singles and doubles winners received exquisite gifts, and there was also an award for the 'Best Organizing Department,' which ranked departments based on registration rates and winning rates, ultimately selecting the PMC Department, Quality Management Department, and Production Department as the three best organizing departments.
A total of 69 participants took part in this competition (42 male singles players, 22 female singles players, and 21 pairs of doubles players), with 137 valid matches (excluding defaults). The extended badminton matches were a dual test of the players' skills and endurance. However, each moment of tacit cooperation, vigorous swings, and jumping smashes brought the competition to a climax, showcasing the players' fighting spirit and competitive style, igniting this chilly winter.
