On December 20, the Matsui Co., Ltd. 2021 Three-Person Basketball Tournament, hosted by the Matsui Labor Union Committee and organized by the Matsui Tiger Basketball Club and the Women's Basketball Association, kicked off at the Blue Moon Valley Workers' Cultural Palace and successfully concluded on December 22!
This competition was organized by randomly grouping departments into four joint teams, with each team competing in round-robin matches for both men's and women's groups. Teams were ranked based on the points they earned, determining the most outstanding men's and women's basketball teams of this winter. Compared to previous tournaments, the participation of women's teams was the biggest highlight of this event.
On the men's court, players were full of enthusiasm, competing fiercely with each other, engaging in rounds of shooting and defense. Team members showcased excellent cooperation, quick transitions in defense and offense, and their movements were stylish and efficient, creating a tense atmosphere on the court. Meanwhile, the cheerleaders off the court were equally enthusiastic, cheering loudly, comparable to a small arena, making the atmosphere very lively and the matches truly exciting!
Women are no less than men; the women's matches were equally thrilling, not only showcasing the highest level of each team but also reflecting the high spirits and teamwork of the female players.
After three nights of competition with 12 matches, the Supply Chain Center joint team ultimately won first place in both the men's and women's groups, while the Management Center joint team secured second place in both groups.
