On the evening of December 13, the Matsui Co., Ltd. 2021 Table Tennis Selection Tournament kicked off at the employee activity center. 53 table tennis enthusiasts from Matsui (32 male players and 21 female players) took to the court to make friends through the game, promote integration through competition, showcase the national sport, and promote Matsui culture.
This table tennis tournament was hosted by the Matsui Co., Ltd. Trade Union Committee and organized by the Matsui Table Tennis Association. The competition was divided into men's singles and women's singles, both adopting a knockout system. During the competition, the players exchanged skills and encouraged each other, showcasing their strength and brilliance, adding new vitality to the sport of table tennis. After several rounds of knockout matches leading to the finals, Zhou Shuangfeng from the Public Affairs Department, Tang Xiangyu from the Coating R&D Department III, Jiang Guiyou from the Coating R&D Department I, and Wen Jie from the Production Department won the top four places in the men's singles; Gong Ting from the Quality Management Department, Cao Dan from the Finance Center, and Xu Ruihong from the Management Center won the top three places in the women's singles.
The holding of this event tested the level of Matsui table tennis players, provided a platform for table tennis enthusiasts to showcase their individual talents, and laid a foundation for further improvement of Matsui's table tennis skills.
