
The first Quality Knowledge Competition of Matsui Co., Ltd. was successfully held.
In response to the theme of the 2021 National Quality Month "Deeply Implement Quality Improvement Actions and Vigorously Promote the Construction of a Quality Power", to promote the implementation of the new quality management concept of "source control, process monitoring, and continuous improvement", and to enhance the quality awareness of all employees, on October 19, the first quality knowledge competition organized by the Quality Management Department was held at the headquarters of Songjing Co., Ltd. The event was hosted by Chen Shasha from the Public Affairs Department and Wu Qiang from the PMC Department, with Linda Xu, the director of the Management Center, in attendance, and all partners at the headquarters participated enthusiastically.
"Establishing quality awareness for all employees and all processes" is the purpose of this event, Linda Xu further clarified. Product quality is the result of the work quality of all employees, involving every link and position from product design and development, customer sampling, procurement, warehousing, production, inspection, transportation, to customer mass production. Quality belongs to everyone, not just a specific department or individual; during the work process, one should not only focus on their own tasks but also understand the processes and systems of other positions and departments. The 24 procedural documents formed by this year's process reform represent the entire process. The focus of this quality knowledge competition is the entire process, with questions derived from these 24 procedural documents.
In this event, all departments of Songjing were divided into 6 participating teams, and the competition consisted of 3 rounds: mandatory questions, quick-answer questions, and risk challenge questions. In addition, to enhance the enthusiasm of all participants, a spectator quick-answer segment was specially set up. By combining knowledge and fun, quality knowledge further permeated the hearts of all employees. After several rounds of intense competition, the joint team of the Marketing Center, Securities Affairs Department, and Audit Department ultimately won the championship, while the Management Center and Production Department took the second and third places, respectively.
This event not only promoted the learning of general quality knowledge among all employees but also deepened the quality awareness of "all employees, all processes", laying a foundation for mutual cooperation between upstream and downstream processes and improving the quality of work at various positions. Safety comes first, quality second. Only by truly realizing the importance of quality work and achieving the transformation from "I have to ensure quality" to "I want to ensure quality", continuously improving work quality, can we enhance product quality and go further on the path of "becoming the industry leader through quality".
