The group standard review for "Technical Specifications for Evaluation of Green Design Products: Water-based 3C Coatings" has been approved.

On October 20, 2021, the technical review meeting for the group standard "Technical Specification for Evaluation of Green Design Products - Water-based 3C Coatings" led by Hunan Songjing New Materials Co., Ltd. was successfully held at the Hunan Provincial Energy Conservation Research and Comprehensive Utilization Association. The review expert group consisted of 5 experts from the Hunan Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, National University of Defense Technology, Hunan Normal University, Hunan Energy Conservation Monitoring Center, and Hunan Kolin Hante Co., Ltd. The meeting was chaired by Wu Ganxiang, the executive deputy secretary-general of the association.
Liu Yongzhong, a second-level researcher from the Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Department of the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting to provide guidance and delivered an important speech. He stated that the development of group standards for green design products is of great significance for actively practicing the concept of green development, enhancing the level of green manufacturing in our province, and ensuring the steady progress of carbon peak and carbon neutrality work. He hopes that experts will leverage their professional advantages to strictly ensure the standard's normative nature and the advancement of indicators, assist the standard drafting unit in improving the standard content, and strive for the early release and implementation of the standard.
At the meeting, Fu Raosheng, the director of the R&D center of Songjing Co., reported on the background of the standard formulation, the formulation process, and the handling of public comments. The expert group members conducted a strict and detailed review of the standard submission draft item by item and engaged in serious and enthusiastic discussions, proposing constructive and feasible modification suggestions, and unanimously agreed that the group standard passed the review.
